Most of the time no display at all or inability to play games/movies are signs of driver related problems. It could be that you have old drivers on your machine, from a older video card made by the same video card manufacturer. There are left over registry entries and junk files on the computer that simply will not play nice with the newer drivers. A safe way to go about it may be to uninstall the drivers from add/remove programs then pay the ten dollars and buy the program on www.drivercleaner.net . This is a good program that makes it easy to uninstall all that left over junk. Otherwise, if you really want me to explain how to manually remove it all from windows explorer and the registry. Please take the time to register under hire a geek. Then ask me to explain in detail. The registry is a sensitive area of the computer. Your windows operating system will be gone, if you do something wrong. Look to my site in the future. It's likely that I will develop a program to automate the process and make it easier and safer. |
